Trevor's First Birthday

Little Trevor turned one on May 8th! It honestly seems like he was born yesterday. I can't believe he is already one. He is such a cute kid and we will miss seeing him grow up.

We had cake for Trevor the night before Rick's graduation. It was so funny to watch him eat this cake.

I loved his TN cake.
He was a little hesitant at first.

This is my favorite picture. Pure bliss!
 Then he got into it!
But then he got frosting in his eye, and the fun was over.
 Well done, Trevor!
Happy birthday, little Trevor!

Katie's Graduation

Little Katie graduated from preschool on May 10th. They had a cute little program, and then presented the kids with diplomas.

I asked Katie if I could take some pictures of her when we got back to her house. She said, "Do you just want to take pictures of me because you are going to miss me so much when I move to California??". That girl knows she is loved!

 Brady sure is cute, too!
We are so proud of Katie! We also can't believe she is starting kindergarten this fall! All our nieces and nephews are growing up so fast!

50% Done!

Steve is now done with 50% of school!!

YAY!!!!!!
He is now busy studying for his COMLEX Test, which he takes on June 15th. Then he gets his last summer break, and starts rotations in Memphis on July 29th.

I am so proud of him. He has done an amazing job, and I know he will do great on the COMLEX! I am also so excited that we only have two years left.

Dr. Dianna

My sister, Dianna, graduated the same weekend Dana and I did. She earned her Ph.D. from Florida State University.

Not only does she now have her doctorate, but she has accepted a faculty position at Vanderbilt! I am so extremely proud of her. I'm also thrilled that she is moving to Nashville!

Dianna has been such an example and inspiration to me. She is such a hard worker, and I am glad all her work has paid off! Love you, sis!

Graduation Dinner

Dana and I decided to have a joint graduation dinner. We tried to find a restaurant, but no one would take us! My sweet dad volunteered to have the dinner at his club house, and even offered to cook the meal! He is just the best.

 Silly, messy kids
We decided this was our chance to take pictures of both of us in our gowns!
 Me, Shannon, and Dana
I sure love both of our new dresses! Thanks again, Mom!
 Sweet Bells
Sweet Adie, can't take a picture without making bunny ears.
Gorgeous Sunset
 Me and the Woods!
Steve took this picture right before we left to meet our friends. I think it accurately captures just how thrilled I was that day. Such a happy weekend!
Thanks again, Dad, for the wonderful dinner! And thank you to everyone who came!

My Graduation!!

On Saturday, May 4th, 2013 I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family Life Studies.

This is a day I honestly thought would never come! I debated over whether or not I would walk. I had a pretty terrible semester this semester, and decided that if I had a plane ticket to Utah, I would be more motivated.

One of my biggest hang ups about walking was the fact that I had only stepped on campus once. Once I actually got there, I did feel awkward. I have to say, I felt more accomplished at Dana's commencement.

But still, it was fun and I am glad I walked.
One of the greatest things about walking was having Kevin hand me my diploma. Such an honor!
Sweet Dana came to see me graduate!

My dad and me
Steve and I spent most of the semester debating whether or not he should come see me walk. I had a really tough semester (just a really bad last couple of months) and I decided one night that I really wanted him to be there. He was only in Utah for 48 hours, had a huge test the day after he flew back, and didn't complain once. I was so happy he was there.
In front of the bull!
Sweet Cindy came up for my graduation
Chad, Sarah, and the kids also came. I really appreciate their support!

After taking pictures, and a quick lunch, we went to get Aggie ice cream! So yummy!
Cute little Mikayla!
I really can't believe I have finally graduated! It has been a stressful three and a half years, and I am so glad to be done. I can't thank my family and friends enough for all their love and support!
