When we first arrived in Utah, my sisters Dianna and Lindsay were both in town. My mom came up with the fun idea of all going up the canyon to have a picnic.

The kids went on an adventure through the woods.
We decided to go for a hike. Lindsay suggested hiking to first falls, which is the same trail you hike to hike Timp. She told us it was a super, easy hike and was only a mile, round trip. Well, it turned out to be much longer and strenuous than that. But we still had fun!

The kids kept rubbing dirt on their faces. Apparently it was for a play they were going to perform after the hike.
We all got a little tired on the hike. Shannon, Lindsay, Steve and I ended up giving Caleb and Andrew piggy back rides most of the way. Steve wanted one too!

After the hike we went back to the theater in the pines. The kids performed their play.
It was a very fun day! I am so happy to be back with my family!
